This Deck came in 1894 in four Variants:
Nr. 170 52 cards without Index 1894-ca.1917 ( from 1904 with 1 Joker and with Index sign).
All decks are 60 x 92 mm and Round corners.
They were made with 15 Stones and as “Superfine Quality, Portraits in Empire
Costumes”.
In England this deck was sold exclusive for E. Hamilton in London as
‘The Imperial Pack of the Unique Playing Cards No.172.
After sometime this Deck came in the New Pricelist in 1930,
only for Export to Denmark and Swiss, and in 1933 for the other Countries,
as: No.170 52 cards + 1 Joker 1930-1933.

Between 1917 and 1930 it has even tough shown up ,because it exist with an Tax stamp of
that time.

B,D,K,A or J,QN,K Ace ( or A) Firm name on Jack of clubs Yellow Roses on blue green
or Pink ground with Golden Blood bough Pattern.
Box Existing Index signs:
A 1894-ca. 1903 ( No.172 and 173) mixed with ca. 2.5 mm Letters
B. ca. 1904-1905 ( No.170 and 171) 2 mm Letters with Colour sign over it
C. 1906-1933 3.5 mm Index letters ASS In Leinfelden brought this deck
“Empire-Portrait”
in 1982 as a “Patience deck” Rebecca and in 1983 as Damen karte “lady D” 50 x 91
mm.
