                              Queens Slipper brand advertised from about 1916
in 1920-1928 - owner Robert G Nall, address:  Reservoir St Sydney

                        Queens Slippers box design Registered in 1923 
                      
  In 1928 sold to Matthews and Company                     
since 1929 called "Paper Products Matthews and Co.",  address: Reservoir St.
                       Tax Excise duty mark of 1/4 on boxes introduced in 1933
1930's-1938 - called "Paper Products LTD"
since 1938 - called "Paper Products PTY LTD"
                       Amelia St Waterloo Factory in use since 1936
1959 - Paper Products taken over by Reed
1959-1966 - "Reed Paper Products PTY LTD"  ("Southern Cross")
1966-1978 - called "Reed Paper Products LTD"
                    in 1978 Reed taken over by James Hardie

1978-1988 - "James Hardie Spicers"; sold in 1988.
                     c.1980 Amelia St Waterloo Factory was closed, and changeover to Preston; in c.1980-1982 some cards printed elsewhere (USA);
                     since c.1982-83 cards printed at Raglan St Preston in Victoria

1988-2000 - "Spicers Paper Limited"
2001 - 2009  "PaperlinX" ("Tudor Group")
since August 2009 - Paperlinx sells Australian Paper assets (including Queens Slipper brand) to Nippon Paper Group,
with Australian products marketed under Australian Office brand

1890s-1924 - brand "W.Thomas&Co." (Melbourne), cards printed by Detmold
1924-1948 - "Spicers and Detmold"
1949-1963 - "Spicers (Australia) Limited"
Taken over by Reed in 1963
